The 20D coolant-thru drill replaces two-step gun-drilling in many automotive and power-generation applications. Suitable for hardened steel (up to HRC 40) and nickel alloys when combined with the correct Balzers PVD coating. Machine spindle runout must be within 0.005mm for consistent tool life.
