The 4-flute TiSiN ball nose end mill is engineered for finishing passes and semi-finish Z-level contouring in steel and stainless steel up to HRC55. More cutting edges reduce per-tooth chip load, enabling higher feed rates while maintaining lower surface scallop height (Ra). TiSiN coating withstands the elevated temperatures of continuous 3D contouring on hardened mould surfaces without edge chipping.

Machining Tip: R6mm produces wide effective cutting zone. In HRC55 hardened steel, use 10–20% D1 step-over for semi-finish; this gives scallop < 0.05mm. At this diameter, ensure minimum wall thickness of 6mm for workholding rigidity, or use vibration-damping toolholder.
